New Chapter Development

Welcome to the New Chapter Builder page of the Greater New England Division.
Chapter building consists of building and chartering one of three types of chapters as follow:
Regular IAAP Chapter (requires 15 members and must have a President and Treasurer to charter) anyone meeting the administrative professional description may joint this chapter, regardless of where they are employed.
Corporate Chapter (requires 15 members and must have a President and a Treasurer to charter) anyone employed as an administrative professional in a specific corporation may join.
Student Chapter (requires 10 members and an Advisor to charter) High schools with administrative career programs, vocational technical schools thare are not accredited, or accredited post-secondary instituions may form a student chapter.
Currentl we have interest for new chapters in the following locations but need more members:
Regular IAAP Chapters:
Danbury/Waterbury area of CT
New Haven, CT
Penobscot area of ME
Vermont
Student Chapters:
Mancehter Community College, Manchester, CT

It will tell you everything that you need to know to get started on building a chapter.
